terms of service

These terms are a contract between you and Mint Housing Solutions LLC, which operates DormroomAI at https://dormroomai.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use DormroomAI. If you are under 18, you may only purchase a paid plan with the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

DormroomAI takes a photo of your room and uses AI to generate redesign concepts, then suggests products that resemble the items in the result. Generated images are illustrative concepts, not architectural plans, measurements or guarantees. Products shown are visual matches suggested by an AI model and may differ in size, price, color or availability from what you actually receive. Always check dimensions, your lease and your school’s housing rules before buying or installing anything.

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit your photo to our image-generation provider for the sole purpose of producing your design and running the service. You confirm you have the right to upload the photo and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

Do not upload photos of other people without their consent, content that is unlawful, sexual, hateful, or violent, or content that infringes intellectual property. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Subject to your compliance with these terms, you may use the images DormroomAI generates for you for personal and commercial purposes. Because AI models can produce similar outputs for different users, we cannot promise your result is unique, and we make no representation that a generated image is protectable by copyright.

Free accounts include a limited number of generations. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.

Each generation counts against your monthly allowance, including re-rolls and regenerations of a design you have already produced. Unused generations do not roll over. Because generation costs are incurred immediately, fees are generally non-refundable, but if something goes wrong on our end email support@dormroomai.com and we will make it right. We may change pricing with notice; changes take effect on your next renewal.

Shopping links on results pages are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no additional cost to you. We are not the seller and are not responsible for any retailer’s products, prices, shipping, returns or customer service. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the service, attempt to reverse engineer it, circumvent generation limits, use it to build a competing model, or interfere with its operation or security.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We rely on third-party AI and hosting providers, so the service is provided on an as-available basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mint Housing Solutions LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located there, and you and Mint Housing Solutions LLC consent to that jurisdiction.
