DormroomAI is operated by Mint Housing Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use https://dormroomai.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. Questions go to support@dormroomai.com.

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you sign in with Google we receive your email, name and profile photo from Google.

Room photos you upload. To generate a redesign we need the photo of your room. Photos are uploaded to our storage provider and sent to our image-generation provider for processing.

Generated designs and choices. The styles, colors and custom prompts you pick, plus the images we generate for you.

School submissions. If you add your campus to our schools wall, we store the school name you submit. It is displayed publicly and is not tied to your identity.

Payment information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number; we receive only your subscription status and a customer reference.

Usage and device data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, for security and performance.

We use your information to run the service: create and secure your account, generate your room designs, count your generations against your plan, process payments, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We may send you service emails such as sign-up confirmations and billing notices.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your room photos to train our own AI models.

We share data only with the vendors that make the product work, each acting on our instructions:

• Supabase — database, authentication and image storage.
• Vercel — application hosting and server logs.
• fal.ai — AI image generation and image recognition for the Shop the Look feature. Your uploaded and generated room images are sent to fal.ai for processing.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid plans.
• Affiliate networks — when you click a shopping link on a results page, the retailer and its affiliate network (Amazon Associates, Impact, CJ Affiliate, FlexOffers) may set cookies and record the referral so we can be credited for a purchase. See our affiliate disclosure.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. Outbound shopping links are affiliate links, and the destination retailer may set its own cookies once you land on its site. Those cookies are governed by that retailer’s privacy policy, not ours.

Account data and your saved designs are kept while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, uploaded photos and generated designs within 30 days, except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons. Server logs are retained on a rolling short-term basis by our hosting provider.

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it by emailing support@dormroomai.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

DormroomAI is intended for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

We use encrypted connections, managed authentication and row-level access rules to protect your data. No service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify you of a breach affecting your data as required by law.

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
